  1. I was looking to see if they were banded. In the Channel Islands area, there are numerous nest cams, including one in Big Bear. I’m still on the lookout for any of last year’s and previous year’s fledged offspring. This one resembles a newly hatched eagle.

  2. What a fantastic picture! Beautiful birds like these are why rat and mouse poison should never be used to control rodents. And if you do, a beautiful eagle will eat it and you will perish.

  3. To be clear, I did not give the position of this eagle because it is not a nesting eagle. This guy can shack up wherever he likes, and he obviously doesn’t mind crowds because he frequents this park where activities are held on a regular basis. I hope that everyone has the opportunity to see this incredible bird.
