Are all HOAs in tustin-irvine like this? Patio/Balcony rules doesn’t say explicitly for not having a bird feeder.

  1. To be honest, it depends on who is in control of the HOA. You can meet some pretty laid-back people as well as some insane ones. My friend is a condo property owner, and the HOA advised her to inform her tenant to take the shampoo bottles out of the bathroom window.

  2. This is only the tip of the iceberg. I can’t tell you how many warnings I’ve gotten for dog feces on my front walkway. I don’t have a canine companion.

  3. On my third-floor balcony, I have a hummingbird feeder, which is normally fine because hummingbird peepeepoopoo does not spread diseases and is virtually unnoticeable. Having a real bird feeder on a balcony seems a little disgusting; don’t you get crap all over the place? That’s unsanitary

  4. My neighbor also has a bird feeder and it’s causing birds to absolutely decimate my patio, windows, and fence with bird shit. Thank you for the suggestion to contact the HOA!
